An architectural heritage
Villa J bears witness to the exceptional architectural legacy of the 1950s when Arles underwent a reconstruction program led by architects Pierre Vago and Jacques Van Migom. Several districts of the city are designed by these disciples of Le Corbusier. This architect-designed villa, Van Migom’s house, embodies the spirit of modern art with a Riviera charm and Tuscan inspiration.
Renovated in 2014, this place has preserved its calm, modern and bright character. Its shaded garden forms a precious green haven, a true oasis of tranquility in the heart of the Camargue city. Today, Villa J flourishes as a creative and cultural space, a place for meetings and discoveries where art and architecture dialogue in an exceptional setting in the heart of Arles.
Between architectural memory and contemporary dynamism, Villa J reinvents the art of working together.
